So am I! I felt like the luckiest person ever to be there on the first trip, and now I’m settled into my midwifery studies and can’t go anywhere for quite some time, and I often find that frustrating. But we can act as witnesses – I imagine you already read http://www.freegaza.org – and those on the boats will need us outside keeping an eye on them as they travel. We can contact journalists, talkback radio, and our MPs, in order to protect them, both in the lead-up to their sailing and if they come under Israeli blockade or attack, as has happened before. As the slogan about political prisoners goes: they are in there for us, we are out here for them. And I will pass on your message to my friends on the boats!

Would DEARLY love to participate in the Free Gaza trip, but as an 80 year old on a very limited fixed pension income, it’s just not possible.
However, I SINCERELY want to express my VERY BEST WISHES for all who are able to participate. I quite frankly am envious…
