Footage of farmer being shot
So here is the footage of Mohammed being shot on Feb 18.. We haven’t been out farming again yet because rain cancelled play on Saturday, Tuesday looks like the next day.
I apologise for lack of posting over recent days. I’ve crashed a bit. I hope to get back to you tomorrow.
In the meantime, I want to share with you something I’ve had in my photo file for a little while….this is the fruit and veg stall on the road to Al Quds hospital – on January 18, and then one week after. The resiliance of Palestinian people never ceases to amaze me. You can see that we do have fruit and veg here (thanks partly to farmers who brave shooting, for example to pick strawberries). But with the economy suffocated by the siege, unemployment at 50% before the attacks, and now the financial strain of losing homes and everything in them needed for daily life – there are 100,000 made homeless – many people can’t afford to buy any of it.

One week later...
