And here I sit Drinking a red wine, on a Friday night reading about the outrages done by Israel to the people of Gaza (and the world) Feeling how this life and this wine mean Nothing compared to what you and others are doing to make a difference in Gaza (maybe at some moment you too would wish to be sat at home with a glass of wine) I wish i could swap places with you, and be there and help as you are doing, the people of Gaza are fighting the oppressor with the only weapon they have left- the bodies of their shahid (شاهد ) and you know what? the people of Gaza are winning!

My heart is breaking for all those innocent people. We feel so helpless to do anything apart from signing as many petitions and letters to the government as we can. Christine and I are talking about you and thinking of you always – you are an inspiration. Love to you, take care, be safe xx Rachael

Hello,
I am the Director of a US-based NGO called Circle of Health International (COHI). COHI’s mission is to build the capacity of women’s health care providers in crisis settings. We are trying to find a women’s focused effort to join in Gaza and wonder if since you are on the ground you have some contact information you could provide? We’ve been in touch with UNRWA and MADRE and are looking for midwives and nurses who need help, specifically what they need, and some contact information to get it to them.
You can reach me at 052-604-2561, or sera@cohintl.org
Please stay safe.
